If you’re a long-time friend, or student, or client, you probably noticed an addition to my website today. Even if you didn’t I’m pretending you did, because you’re supportive. And I’d rather think about positive stuff than the things my mind wanders to when I’m stressed.
The web addition says “Blog”. No pressure. And it says “Blog” because “Wannabe Maybe Someday Blog if You Want to Read It…Sort Of” doesn’t fit. And I have pushy friends. Loving, Articulate, Caring, Supportive, Awesome friends, but they’re pushy.
I mean come on, they can’t even wait 10 years until I’m ready! See? Pushy. So glad you agree.
It’s the end of summer, the week before school starts. I haven’t posted my new class calendar (you’d love my classes) and in two days my loving spouse will be home asking what we’re doing this weekend.
Truth is…I don’t know what we’re doing this weekend. The list is too long, and I have classes to schedule and jewelry to make and a new studio to finish. Remind me to tell you about that. It's fabulous.
So I’m stressed.
I wrote about my stress. And my lists.
If you watch me on Facebook you know how that turned out this morning. Accidental Blog Post. Who knew I could Guest Blog? I’ve been avoiding that as a “thing”, but apparently Lisa Lehmann of StudioJewel fame had other ideas. (Thanks, Lisa.) It turns out that to avoid accidentally blogging, one must never write. And never speak. Ever.
So if you’ve been sitting home wishing I’d blog about classes, or metal clay techniques, fabulous things to do in Grand Haven when you book your amazing vacation, or what’s for dinner, this might be your lucky day.
On second thought, this is the promise of your lucky day. I ran out of day. And I’m not cooking tonight. So check out my classes. If there’s one you like, let me know. If I taught it once, I can teach it again. And if I can figure out this newfangled video thing, I might do some of that.
