If you've been involved in the beading world for long, you know that dichroic glass (particularly beads) is/are incredibly hard to photograph. Their natural depth tends to flatten. The changing colors that are enhanced by the play of light on and through the bead tend to disappear as well. This photo worked pretty well, since the original bead had a limited palette and featured mostly autumn colors. It's very subdued compared to some of my others.
