What is Silver Clay? 

Silver Clay (also known as metal clay) is manufactured by two companies under two different trade names: Art Clay and PMC (Precious Metal Clay).  Both products are made of finely ground silver combined with an organic binder and water.  The clay can be rolled, textured, cut, carved, drilled, sanded, molded, and even woven.  When it's fired with a torch, gas stove, or kiln, the organic and water burn off, leaving a piece of 99.9% pure silver.  Metal clay is available in the US in both silver and gold.  Metal Clay will soon be for sale on this website.  If you'd like to order metal clay before then, email me.
